Contact us and let us know details of your project. We will let you have a no-obligation quote shortly after.

This is not normally a problem. If your conductor is not known to us, we will ask you to provide us with some background information about him/her. We do ask that conductors working with the orchestra are experienced, professional conductors and have experience of working with professional orchestras in the past.

If you need a conductor, we will be happy to recommend one of our English-speaking conductors who is familiar with the orchestra and with recording in the Czech Republic.

Standard recording sessions are four hours.  We also offer one-hour and two-hour sessions but the per-hour cost of these is more than the per-hour cost of a four-hour session.

We will upload the session files to an online file transfer service or an FTP server and send you details about how to download them.

If you need files delivered to you on a physical drive, please let us know and we can arrange this also.

You.

We don’t keep any rights so you never have to worry about paying us royalties in future.  We offer complete “buy-out” recording sessions.

We can often find space at short notice but please be aware that the studio space and players are in high demand and frequently get booked quite far in advance.  As soon as you think you might need some time with the orchestra, let us know and we will advise about availability.

The desk at Czech TV Music Studio A is hardwired to record at 48 kHz/24 bit.

The studio will seat 50 players comfortably.  If you need more players, let us know your precise requirements and we will be able to advise on the studio’s suitability or we can find alternative studio space in Prague.

We will send you a simple web link which you can open in any browser.  You don’t need any special software installed on your computer.  Once you have entered your name, you will be plugged directly into the mixing desk and will be able to hear the orchestra in the studio.  You will also be able to communicate with our producer in the control room and comment on the recording session.

We provide editing, mixing and mastering services.  If you need any of these services, let us know when you make your enquiry.

In a four-hour session, you should budget to record around 20-25 minutes of music.  In a one-hour session, you should aim to record around 5-6 minutes of music.

If you are an English speaker, you probably don’t need a translator.  Our producer speaks excellent English and the conductors are all excellent English speakers as are most of the musicians.
